Each Pittsburgh Fellow is paired up with a mature Christian adult mentor who has worked in the corporate world, generally in the same business arena as the Fellow.

Each mentor gives guidance and encouragement while sharing open, honest conversations about the business environment and how faith fits in.  As the two get to know each other, a rich relationship develops.  From the mentor, the Fellow learns valuable lessons in professional work and significant ministry.  All mentoring is based on mutual respect and a common love for Jesus Christ.

Mentors are selected after review by the Fellows Board.  Each mentor agrees to:

  • Find time for fellowship and discussion with the Fellow.
  • Take an interest in Fellows’ everyday experiences, career choices, and spiritual growth.
  • Help Fellow evaluate interests, career paths, educational options,  life decisions.
  • Listen, encourage, offer appropriate support and friendship.
